Terms of service

Who you buy from
These terms apply to purchases at gardisto.eu. Your purchase contract is with Gårdisto AB. Shopify provides the store's technical platform.
Mandatory consumer rights always take precedence over these terms.

Products and orders
Product pages show prices, availability, materials, measurements and any certifications. We aim to describe our products accurately, but colours may look different on different screens.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed when we send the order confirmation by email.
Before a binding contract is formed, we may decline an order where the law permits, for example because of an obvious pricing error or a well-founded suspicion of fraud.
After a binding contract is formed, we will contact you if stock, payment or technical problems affect your order, so the matter can be resolved in accordance with applicable consumer law. Such problems do not in themselves give us the right to cancel a binding purchase.
If an order is declined or a purchase is cancelled in accordance with applicable law, we refund any payment taken without undue delay. Your mandatory rights remain unchanged.
You must have legal capacity to make the purchase, or a parent or guardian's consent where required. Provide correct contact, delivery and payment details. Accounts use email and a one-time code, so keep your email account secure.
Prices, payment and free delivery
The price and currency shown at checkout apply to your order. Applicable VAT is included in displayed prices. Any other charges are shown before you confirm the order.
- We deliver to Sweden, Finland and Norway.
- Tracked standard delivery is free on all products in all three countries, with no minimum order value.
- Standard delivery to Finland is by DHL.
Available delivery options and payment methods are shown at checkout. External payment providers process payments; Gårdisto does not store complete card details.
Norwegian VAT and imports
For eligible VOEC goods valued below 3,000 NOK per item, Norwegian VAT is collected at checkout. The item value excludes VAT and shipping. The limit applies to each item, not the order total.
Correctly declared VOEC shipments should normally have no further import VAT, customs duty or carrier customs-clearance fee on delivery. Goods outside the scheme, including items valued at 3,000 NOK or more, follow ordinary Norwegian import rules. Any applicable additional charges will be explained before purchase.
Delivery and responsibility for the goods
Orders are dispatched from our fulfilment partner in Värnamo, Sweden. Delivery methods and estimates are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. If no delivery time is agreed, we deliver without undue delay and within the maximum period required by law.
Gårdisto bears the risk of loss or damage until you, or someone you designate other than the carrier, physically receives the goods. Ownership passes when payment is complete, without limiting your mandatory consumer rights.
Withdrawal and returns
You normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase, starting the day after you receive the goods. For separate deliveries from one order, the period starts the day after the last item arrives.
Send your notice within that period and return the goods without undue delay, no later than 14 days after the notice.
- Notify us through your orders or by a clear email to support@gardisto.eu. Statutory withdrawal does not require our approval.
- You arrange and pay for ordinary return shipping. We do not charge a fixed return fee.
- Gårdisto also offers voluntary returns during days 15–30, subject to the item-condition rules in our Return and Refund Policy.
For statutory withdrawal, we refund without undue delay and within 14 days of your notice. We may wait until we receive the goods or proof that you sent them back. If you withdraw from the entire purchase, the refund includes the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.
The return policy explains item condition, refunds and the separate return address. Neither the voluntary return offer nor its conditions limit your statutory rights.
Faulty goods and complaints
Contact us within a reasonable time after discovering a fault, damage or an incorrect delivery. Give your order number and describe the problem; photographs are helpful if available.
Depending on the applicable law, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction, a refund or another remedy. Gårdisto covers necessary return and replacement-delivery costs for a valid complaint.
- Sweden: normally three years from receipt to complain about an original defect. A complaint within two months of discovering it is always timely.
- Finland: liability for defects has no fixed time limit; it is assessed against the goods' reasonably expected lifetime.
- Norway: normally two years, or five years for goods intended to last substantially longer than two years. A complaint within two months of discovering the defect is always timely.
These rules apply where the respective country's mandatory law protects your purchase. Your mandatory rights in your country of residence remain unchanged.
Website content and use
Our text, photographs, designs, graphics, logos and trademarks belong to Gårdisto AB or our licensors. Do not copy, publish or use them commercially without written permission, unless the law allows it.
Do not use the website unlawfully, distribute malicious code, attempt unauthorised access or disrupt the site or other users' rights.
Personal data
Shopify hosts the store and processes personal data when you browse or shop. Shopify Network Intelligence also uses information from interactions with this store, other merchants and Shopify to support services. Information is shared with Shopify and service providers, which may be in other countries.
Our Privacy Policy explains the processing and your choices. See also Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify's privacy portal. Accepting these purchase terms does not mean consenting to optional cookies or personalised advertising.
Liability
We are responsible for our products and commitments under mandatory law. Where the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the contract was made. No term limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
Applicable law and disputes
Swedish law applies, without taking away mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence. Contact us first so we can try to resolve any disagreement.
- Sweden: Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN).
- Finland: KKV Consumer Advisory Services for advice, then the Consumer Disputes Board for an unresolved dispute.
- Norway: Forbruker Europa for help with cross-border complaints.
You can always bring a claim before a competent court under applicable mandatory law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms for future purchases. The version in force when you ordered applies to that purchase.
